TerraSource Gourmet Chocolates is pleased to offer its latest green packaging: a two-piece favor box made from a specialty paper containing native prairie seeds grown and harvested in the Midwest. Enjoy handcrafted vegan dark chocolates sourced with local, organic and fair trade ingredients, then plant the box paper to plant a native prairie garden appropriate to the Midwest bioregion.


Each box is crafted from tree-free, 100% post consumer recycled paper embedded with a mix of seeds: Prairie Blazing Star, Purple Prairie Clover, Ironweed, Joe Pye Weed, Turtlehead, Culver's Root, Yellow Cone Flower, Showy Goldenrod, Stiff Goldenrod, Anise Hyssop and Canada Milk Vetch. For best results, thoroughly moisten and plant in fine soil. Keep moist until seeds germinate. The paper will recycle naturally into the soil.
